PAST - Enchanted Cocktail Ball Melbourne 2009
This function gave us the opportunity to showcase our first event in Melbourne. Our venue was the sophisticated and exclusive Baroq House in the inner city. The opulent and Sophisticated, Baroq House is a luxurious mansion-style bar and lounge, nestled in a cobbled laneway between Melbourne Central and QV. It embodied the spirit of grandeur from centuries past, with a modern fusion of today. Baroq House is true to this philosophy, harmonising drinking, dancing, dining and socialising in an artistically fuelled space for its sophisticated patrons. Baroq House is best summed up in three words: lush, lavish, and exclusive!
Enchanted gave fashionista ladies the ultimate opportunity to straighten, perm and shop for their ideal “enchanted” outfit, set against a night of fashion and music. The gentlemen had an evening of fine wine, with each ticket affording guests two drinks courtesy of Palmera Projects and Baroq House, and even finer company.
Enchanted was a great night out, with beautiful fashion, XSIGHT style photographers and fantastic prizes.
We raised over $2000 Dollars. All proceeds will be contributed to Palmera’s teacher training project at the Volunteer Development Children’s Association (VDCA), school in Cambodia.
This evening will be a precursor to larger events in support of the school to be held at the end of the year in Melbourne.
Comicide performed a number of feature comedy sketches to entertain our guests.
